El proyecto Ride It Out se originó a partir de tres puntos: de nuestra relación con el objeto bicicleta, el contexto donde vivimos y el posible diálogo entre el objeto y la gente que lo viera.
Chopper: Esta es la primer bicicleta que hicimos. Aquí estábamos interesados en la idea de funcionalidad del trabajo artístico a partir de la distinción entre presentar y representar, tomamos la bicicleta como pretexto para explorar al objeto-imagen y su relación en escala con el mundo real.
This project was originated from these three facts: our relation with the bicycle as an object, our context, and the dialogue between the object and the people who sees them.
Chopper: This was the first bicycle we made. Here we are interested in the functionalism of the work of art and in the distinction between presentation and representation, taking the bicycle as a pretext for exploring the object-image and its relation with scales and dimensions in the real world.
